Changes in Harp Loom Warping set tools

This year we made two changes to the Harp Forte Loom warping tools.

One of them we have already written about – the replacement of a pair of two elements with one – the thinner warp peg with one thicker warp peg. This makes warp preparation easier.

The second element that we are introducing is short strings instead the U-helper. Instead of the traditional fork U-helper made of wood, which was only able to hold the rod on one side, the strings (already used in the Presto loom) allow the rod to be firmly fixed on two sides during warp preparation, making it easier to tension the warp evenly. It is still possible to order an additional wooden u-helper, for those who prefer this option.
