Subsequently, the jumbo bobbin allows spinners double capacity of the regular Kromski bobbin from over 4 oz. up to half pound! This means longer, continual drafts for skeins with greater yardage.

Das Sonata ist unser Reisespinnrad und wird deshalb immer gleich mit einer extra für dieses Rad konzipierten, strapazierfähigen Tasche geliefert. Es lässt sich mit wenigen Handgriffen innerhalb einer Minute zusammenklappen oder wieder aufbauen, so dass es auf Spinntreffen oder Reisen ein treuer Begleiter ist, der auch viel kann. Das kugelgelagerte Schwungrad hat einen Durchmesser von 50 cm und liegt in zusammengeklapptem Zustand direkt auf den Tritten. So lässt es sich mit seinen 58 x 50 x 18 cm auch in kleinen Wohnungen prima verstauen. Der Spinnkopf ist mitsamt seiner Spule abnehmbar, so dass nach dem Aufbau sofort weitergesponnen werden kann.
Es ist ein einfädiges Rad mit Spulenbremse und einem elastischen Polycord Antriebsriemen. Der ergonomische Doppeltritt entlastet den Rücken und sorgt zusammen mit dem Einzugsloch in Handhöhe für entspanntes Spinnen durch eine bequeme Sitzposition. Mit einer Bandbreite an Übersetzungen von 6,7:1 bis 14:1 bietet das Rad viele Möglichkeiten. Die integrierte Lazy Kate, also der Spulenhalter, ist schräg neben den Tritten befestigt und fasst zwei Spulen zum Zwirnen.


Optional kann ein Jumbo-Flügel oder ein schnellerer Flügel mit höheren Übersetzungsraten bestellt werden.

Sonata to wyjątkowy kołowrotek – z jednej strony może się poszczycić pełnowymiarowym kołem zamachowym o średnicy 50 cm, z drugiej strony jest to model składany, przystosowany do przechowywania na niewielkiej przestrzeni oraz przewożenia. Kołowrotek posiada specjalną, dedykowaną  dla siebie, wzmacnianą torbę idealną w podróży oraz chroniącą go w czasie przechowywania.
